Who Qualifies?
The creator of the Legacy Family Crest Terance “Terry” Anthony Redmond, spoke with hundreds of family members over the decades. He tried to work out many qualifying scenarios with multiple family members. After discussions with multiple family members especially senior family members (both alive and deceased) we have decided this was the simplest way.
- The Genesis: Anyone who is related to Terance Anthony Redmond. Must be by blood or legal unification per the government they reside. This predates and postdates the existence of Terance Redmond.
- Once one is gifted the family crest the same rules apply to their (our) family forever.
- Do your best to uphold the mission statement the crest represents.
- All ages
- One must contact us to verify you are qualified before receiving the crest and/or its accessories.
An example: Everyone who is related to Jennifer Elizabeth Redmond (Terry’s wife) qualifies.
Another example: Terry’s blood cousin Bob married Jessica but years later got a divorced. His ex-wife Jessica was legally related and granted the family crest. She can pass this on to all her (our) family and their children’s children. All those related to her by blood or legally in the eyes of the governing body where they reside. This includes her partner if she remarries and all their offspring and family members. The same rules for Jessica apply for all those related to Jessica as if she was Terry Redmond.
As one reads this to decide who qualifies I bet you can see how you are related to hundreds if not thousands of living relatives. Especially those that have come before us. We are all family, we have pride, and will do our best to uphold the meaning of the family crest.
